This store is extremely poor at either adequate stock predictions or just restocking shelves in general.It's very frustrating but on every visit I know I won't be able to find all the items I need.Edit: 2 months later and no sign of improvement. Edit again: many moons later and it's still just as bad, if not worse.Hey ASDA, literally empty shelves don't make any money! Believe it or not it's true!
I used to go shopping in Asda every week. When it first came to our town of Portadown, However lately it has become an un-customer friendly environment by the customer doing the same job as the staff the only difference is that the staff are getting paid.The customer has to chase the staff for the stock items on their shopping lists as this is due to the empty shelves. Two days in a row I, the customer has had to locate a staff member whom is unfriendly and makes me the customer feel that the staff member is going out of their way to locate missing stock and when the staff member comes back with information about the stock item that you particularly need, you find out that it's not going to be in store or shelfed until the 30th. From a customer's point of you ASDA has became unreliable for specific items which never happened in the beginning, you could place your finger on what you need and go. The point of view of this review is that they're saying it will save you money, they will definitely help save you money as you won't be able to spend on what you need.Tesco's in The Meadows has no empty shelf space has more than a variety of options and with the Range beside it. And before you make your way to the Range you have the Card Factory what more could you need or ask for your Christmas shopping rush.
In this store at least twice a week....love the store BUT there is a woman working at the pizza counter who is anything but helpful (i wont mention her name) its like a chore for her to make a pizza for you....she is rude, never smiles and quite frankly should be removed!! I cringe when I go to the counter when she is standing there making pizzas
Ample parking. Well priced service station opposite shop. Store is very busy evertime I visit. The fitting rooms was full of clothes lying about. Self service tills very handy
This is a great Asda store just off the main road in Bridge Street. It has a great selection of products at very reasonable prices. Nice wee cafe to get a quick bite to recharge the batteries. Cafe is clean and tidy and the staff are constantly tidying up and cleaning tables. This is a large store with a huge free car park and the staff are helpful and friendly so it gets 5 stars from me! I usually go in the morning time as it is less busy then.
