Been the hub of oor community since 1972 and it has withstood a direct bombing another major bomb at the local police station. Twice it has been targeted for standing up for the locals being firebombed which closed it for a total of six weeks. The proprietors of all the local businesses pulled together and turned up to celebrate its reopening. Our birthdays, weddings, christenings, funerals, anniversaries and all kinds of special moments have been celebrated there. Yes Drumgor tavern has suffered but has shone for us in our darkest moments and has been a beacon for our greatest achievements. It is a place our hearts will forever be embedded in a place we are proud of and a place we will never ever forget
